After reading this book, I told myself: I miss nice cold green raining WA soooooo much ... (sigh) Well, I know this is a 5-star book to a lot of people, but it is not my type of vampire stories. I prefer the blood every where ones. Additionally, for me, it is very hard to imagine a god-like (looking or behaving) one-hundred and something man (or I should say boy?) to fall in love with a tip-over-every-where selfish,likely,(since she said her parents were not an issue for her conversion) girl, and they will be together forever ... Oh, I forget that this is a romantic story. Love is not reasonable. XDDDD

趁著颱風天終於把這本原文書給讀完了，這是本人第一本唸完的原文書，基本上我覺得這本書的故事內容設定並不特別，畢竟這類型的羅曼史也很多了，像琳茜.珊德斯的吸血鬼系列，不然像「南方吸血鬼」系列的書，再不然有稍微提到吸血鬼故事的「暗夜獵人」系列，都是描述吸血鬼的故事，這本跟其他幾本比起來，感覺沒什麼特別之處。http://blog.yam.com/jo0504/article/17493989

看了三分之一時，期待著“吸血鬼”的劇情。原本想說是和歷史學家類似的風格。看了三分之二後，才熊熊意識到這是本人類與吸血鬼的......超老梗。有種被騙的感覺就放棄了。

I'm glad that I still read Twilight again in Original version since if I read Chinese version at first, I rarely read the English version. It's a good saga to read again and again.

中文書名：暮光之城暮色美國很暢銷的一本小說，最近還被拍成電影。雖然vampire是這系列小說的重要賣點，但我覺得它偏向言情小說多一些。前面三分之一的情節真的很吸引人，但愈看覺得劇情不斷的重覆，對白反反覆覆的就是那幾句話，感覺作者在湊字數讓小說厚一些。如果精簡一些，拿掉太多不斷重覆對男主角姣好外貌的敘述，及女主角無法自拔的自白，這會是本還不錯的言情帶些驚悚的小說。

因為喜歡吸血鬼故事而買了這本書.目前正讀到第13章. 前面幾章還有點趣味, 讀到第10章則越來越難以忍受. 敘事貧乏劇情薄弱. 說實話, 許多少女漫畫都比這本書精彩的多.　希望後面幾章會有味道些. 讀畢.　10~13章挺無聊的, 幸好13章以後好多了....... 2008.11.27 讀畢四部曲. 覺得應該重新評價Twiligh Sega跟自己的心智. 第二部 new moon 開始越來越有趣, 第三部 eclipse 跟第四部 break dawn 讀到廢寢忘食. 看來, 我的心智果然還停在14歲....
